Das neue Kahles K15i – 1-5x24i

Basically,  the same nice scope as the K16i but “only” 5x magnification. I think, the difference between 5x and 6x shouldn’t be to big and nearly not noticeable. The rest has been the same – clear and bright glass, ultra wide field of view, very bright dot etc. At the moment, the K15i will be only available with the G4B recticle. But a version with the Si1 is also at least in planning. Kahles is open to comments – please feel free to leave a comment here – I´ll forward them!

I hope to get a test scope soon that I´ll bring with me to the matches for you to test. Just tell me!

Sonntagnachmittägliche Trainingssession

This is how it looks like usually – some mixed targets (full, half, reduced, penalties) and some plates. I try to cover long and short distances, moves, speed and accuracy. Everything went fine today until my Revo starts with funny behavior. I pulled the trigger, felt the hammer break, but the hammerdidn’t fall or felt after a little break…. This is a short clip of how it looked like:

after disassembling the revolver right there at the range, I found out, what has happened:

This time it was the sear pin, which moved out of the hammer on the frame side. It’s always something new…

Season Opening – Winterrange Rifle Match

Had a nice squad and enjoyed the match very much. Rain in the afternoon didn’t hurt as much. In the end, I finished fourth just behind three rifle experts. Not too bad and a good start into the new season!

edit: got some nice pictures of this match from Thomas Bulling – check out his Website at http://tbpictures.jimdo.com/schie%C3%9Fsport/ipsc-rifle/

Deutsche Meisterschaften Revolver

After “loosing” at the Infinity this year in Mai, I was very, very excited, how it’ll end this time. I practiced a lot and I felt good pepared for this match. But the nerves… It started, as foreseable – the first two stages, I was slow and not very precise. But than, I found the “flow” and improved my shooting from stage to stage. Even smaller drwabacks as a miss on a weak hand stage coulnd’t confuse me and I got back point for point. After the first day, I was very pleased with my shooting and I concluded to shoot like this the next day also. I felt comfortable and had again a good day today. Even a miss on the third stage of the day didn’t unhinge me and the result was a comfortable win by 7% overall! What a day! Perfect rehersal for the Europeans in four weeks! “I want to, I can, I will!” (translated word by word, I hope, it´s correct and understandable? Comments welcome…). Think positive!
